Ahmedabad IT Hub

Ahmedabad is the largest city in Gujarat and the seventh largest city in India. It is one of the fastest growing cities in India and the third fastest growing city in the world [Ref: Wikipedia]. Before Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad was the capital of Gujarat between 1960 and 1970. Ahmedabad is still the commercial capital of the Gujarat state.

Ahmedabad has been continuously rising in the IT sector and now Ahmedabad IT sector has become a major attraction for people who look outsources their work in order to gain maximization of profits. Ahmedabad has grown significantly in terms of technology; it has hundreds of designing and development companies, internet marketing firms and call centers.

There are plans to set up a 1.5mn square feet IT/ITES SEZ at Sanathal village, off S.G Road in Ahmedabad, of which the construction has already begun. The project has an investment cost of around Rs350crores and this project will be providing employment to more than 20,000 people.

Ahmedabad has all the facilities that are required for perfect setup such as top class international airport, high quality roads and power supply without any disturbance. As compared to other cities in India, Ahmedabad is most suitable and has perfect conditions that are required for IT sectors. Ahmedabad real estate market has gone up tremendously in the past 3-5 years and there are many other commercial and residential projects lined up. Ahmedabad is truly becoming an ideal hotspot for all types of IT related activities.
